That beer box, cereal box, or Amazon mailer you were about to toss? It’s about to become a book. In this hands-on afternoon class, I’ll guide you through turning recycled packaging and cardboard mailers into a beautiful, structured journal — your choice of a shaped book or a traditionally bound journal. You’ll learn basic bookbinding, decorate your covers with rescued papers and ephemera, and finish with a book that’s ready to fill. Use it as a summer travel journal, a garden journal, a book tracker, a memory keeper — or all of the above. Bring ticket stubs, menus, maps, packaging, or any ephemera you’ve been saving. We’ll have materials on hand, but the personal stuff is what makes it yours.
No experience needed. All skill levels welcome.
