Join us this November for a hands-on workshop to create a Concertina Book—the fancy name for a simple, yet versatile, accordion-style folded book. This flexible structure can be made from nearly any paper and sized to your needs. It’s the perfect format to use as:

• A Personalized Gift: Turn it into a memory book with photos and writing for the upcoming holidays.

• An Idea Catcher: Keep it handy to capture project notes, sketches, or inspiration.

• A Portable Gallery: Use it to display a collection of art or poetry that unfolds before the reader.

Suggested Supplies:

• You can use recycled papers or a clean sheet of paper, so check your paper stash for mixed media, watercolor, or even heavy-duty recycled packing paper or paper bags. Simply use what’s suitable for your medium of choice (but be warned: heavy paper makes for a charmingly “wonky” book!) My sample may be a *bit* wonky 🤭

• Tape (can be plain clear or decorative/washi)

• Whatever medium you want to work with: markers/pens, paints, recycled paper for collage

  Optional if you want a cover: recycled cardboard or card stock, glue
